Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Gratitude Safari mobile application (the "App") operated by Gratitude Safari ("we," "our," or "us").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the App
Gratitude Safari is a personal gratitude journaling application. You may use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the App or use it for any unlawful purpose.
2. Accounts&Personal Data
The App does not require an account or registration. All data you create (journal entries, preferences, achievements) is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your content.
3. Free Trial&Subscriptions
The App offers a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required to continue using premium features.
Subscription options:

After your trial expires without a subscription, you can still:

View previously written journal entries

View previously unlocked achievements
Premium features (require active subscription):

Creating new journal entries

Daily prompts and prompt style customization

Unlocking new safari animals

Exporting entries as PDF

Face ID / biometric lock
Subscription terms:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase

Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
4. Refunds
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple. We do not process payments or refunds directly.
5. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, text, graphics, icons, and overall look and feel, is the property of Gratitude Safari and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Gratitude Safari is a journaling tool and is not a substitute for professional mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment . If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gratitude Safari shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, App deletion, or any other cause.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya , without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
